HOUSE NOTES

There is a dishwasher, washer/tumble dryer in the house, but please note that the tumble dryer only takes half the normal load, as it is integrated.  There is a range cooker and barbecue;  if using the barbecue, can you please clean out after use and buy a replacement set of coals. Please put all your rubbish in the wheelie bin by the side gate, you can also use the recycle bags for paper, plastic etc.
Unfortunately you cannot recycle glass with the recycling bag; you must take glass to the car park where there is a deposit for glass.

For security, please bolt the gate at night on the inside, so that no one can come through to the back of the house.

In the warmer summer months, please could you water the garden, especially the wisteria around the terrace.  There is a hanging hammock chair for the terrace, if it looks like it is going to rain, please bring in.  There is also a folding deckchair on the upstairs terrace for your use, especially nice at sunset.

There is central heating on a timer, which you can override, instructions will be given to you before you arrive.

There is a wood burning stove, please supply your own logs. Dry out any logs overnight before burning, or there will be too much smoke. 

A full set of linen and towels are provided;  if your require more towels please bring with you.  Please bring your own beach towels. 

Children are very welcome, but the house may not be suitable for very young toddlers as there is a balcony on the terrace without a railing.  The stairs to the attic are also steep, as this is an old cottage. 

The attic bedroom also has sloping roof, so be careful with your head when you go to the sides of the room.

Please feel free to use whatever there is in the house, but try to replace and leave the essentials for the next person. We will provide you with fresh milk, juice and bread as a complimentary breakfast pack. The corner shop, Windy Corner has a good selection of fresh croissants for the morning.

Please ensure that you have your own personal accident insurance.
